A Winnipeg beach proposal for the books!

Ben reached out to me in the beginning of August about photographing his proposal to Addison. Let me be the first to say, WOW, it was so fun!

He shared his vision of a romantic beach proposal with me and together we planned out all the details from the location to the time and setup. He was looking for a location that was fairly private and where Addison wouldn’t see the setup from the parking lot. We agreed that Patricia Beach had the perfect spot!

On the day of the proposal, my husband and I met Addison’s sister at the beach a little early and got the setup ready with some stunning white roses from Academy Florist!
We each found spots to hide and I got to photograph while my husband took a video for them.

The sun had already set when the proposal happened but we managed to squeeze in a handful of engagement photos with the little light we had left. Needless to say, I’m beyond pleased with how they turned out!
