This shoot! Where do I even start?

This has been (hands down) one of my favourite photoshoots in all my years of being a couple photographer! I first met Mandi when she reached out to me to do a wedding photoshoot for her and her husband, Logan. A few weeks later I was a part of her brothers wedding and we got to meet in person!

Before their session we talked about exactly what kind of photos they were hoping to get from this session and why these photos would be meaningful to them. At their design consultation (aka the planning meeting), we figured out the session location and discussed outfits. We also discussed what kind of heirlooms they were hoping to get in order to really enjoy their photos to the fullest.

Let me just say, I LOVE when I meet my clients and immediately feel like I’ve already known them for a long time. And Mandi and Logan are like that! We spent the evening shooting together and I felt like we were old friends.

These are the sessions that make being a couple photographer so meaningful and fun!
