Meryl reached out to me before he proposed to Christina, looking for a proposal photographer. Unfortunately we were unable to make it work for me to be there for the proposal, so we planned to do some engagement photos instead.

One of the first things they mentioned to me at their design consultation, is that they are not country people. They wanted elegant engagement photos in Winnipeg and Assiniboine Park was the perfect location! Starting off, we shot at the Pavilion with the pillars. Then we moved to the English Gardens and found some gorgeous blossoms to add some variety in the photos!

During their design consultation I discovered that Christina is a photographer too! I always love connecting with more photographers in the area so this was a fun surprise. :) If you’re interested in checking out her work, you can find her on instagram at Christina Wiebe Photography.

We had so much fun wandering the Assiniboine Park and finding stunning spots for their engagement photos! I placed their product order and am so excited to get their prints delivered!
